Vessels with deocration inspired byt that found on the moor of the north of England and Scotland - cup and ring marks and linear carvings; and the labyrints and spirals from Newgrange, Ireland.
“Not mugs” - I can’t sell them as mugs since they seep very slowly over a length of time (overnight, when I tested them with cold water).
However they can be used to display dried flowers and seedheads, and those intersting sticks we all bring back from our walks (don’t we?). Or you could use them for your paint brushes or knitting needles, even as containers these are a real bargain!
Each design is unique. Made from lightly textured clay with wax resist decoration. Three in rusty brown glaze, one in blue - photo numbers indicate which is which in the numbered drop down list below.
